The focus of the  company however changed over the years to the production  of  exquisite and unique hats for ladies  importation/sale of millinery/beading items, and ultimately to the  production of  ladies head-ties, Aso-oke fabrics and other fashion accessories.

From its humble beginnings as a single outlet outfit,  NT has over time grown in leaps and bounds. It presently has 10 retail outlets strategically located in Festac Town, Surulere ,Ikeja, Broad Street  (all in Lagos)  as well as in Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Europe and North America. Mikewig Holdings company Inc. [sister company]  based in Houston, Texas USA  is the global distributor and  online  shopping (internet) sales administrator.

In 2008, Needles and Thread launched its own brand of Aso-oke  aptly branded "LACE ASO-OKE" and it has since become the hottest choice for a lot of stylish woman.
